Our Packaging

What It Is
Slip Tint
Our tube is made out of 100% Sugarcane BioresinHydrabeam
Hydrabeam is made out of 75% PCR (post-consumer recycled plastic).Airset
Airset is made of 35% PCR (post-consumer recycled plastic). -
Why we chose it
Slip Tint
Regular plastic is produced from fossil raw materials such as natural gas and oils and is–unfortunately–found in lots of everyday products. These gases and raw materials are non-renewable and greatly contribute to carbon emissions. Instead, we chose to use a plastic made from ethanol, a carbon neutral (and renewable!) derivative of the Brazilian sugarcane plant.Hydrabeam
PCR, also known as Post Consumer Resin, is essentially a plastic made from recycled plastics! We love using PCR in our packaging because it means you’re giving packaging a second-life (and third and fourth… because you can recycle it again when you’re done!). It’s a little more expensive to package our products this way, but reducing waste is always worth it to us :)Airset
Post Consumer Resin, also known as PCR, is plastic that's been repurposed for use again. Using PCR helps to reduce the amount of new plastic packaging. Products that use PCR drive the demand of the material, which in turn increases its overall use across different industries. -
Recycling
Slip Tint
Once your Slip Tint is empty, trim the end of the tube and give it a clean out before placing it in your home recycling bin as dirty packaging doesn't always get recycled. Once you have five Saie empties, you can Recycle the pump and cap via Pact Collective.Hydrabeam
While Hydrabeam's components are made of recyclable materials, individual components under two inches do not typically make it through the recycling stream. Once you have five Saie empties, you can recycle them via Pact Collective.Airset
Make sure your jar is empty. Remove the sifter and wipe away any remaining product from the jar. Place the cap and jar in your recycling bin. While our sifter is made of recyclable plastic, the component is too small to make it into the recycling stream. You can recycle this piece via Pact Collective.
