The Wellness Cube

My go-to hack for my family and I during cold and flu season.

Ingredients:

  • 3 whole lemons
  • Whole peeled ginger root (see video for size)
  • ½ cup of coconut water
  • 1.5 tbs of honey (local is best!)
  • 1 ice cube tray


Recipe:
1. Slice lemons in half and put in blender
2. Roughly peel ginger and put in blender
3. Add coconut water and honey to blender
4. Blend until mixture is a slushy consistency
5. Fill ice cube tray with slushy mixture and then freeze overnight.
6. Next morning, pour hot water over 1 wellness cube to melt.
7. Optional: Add a bag of your favorite tea for extra flavor!
