The Saie x Uncle Paulie’s Collab You Didn’t Know You Needed
When we launched Slip Tint at the end of last summer, we thought it would be fun to celebrate by delivering Uncle Paulie’s Deli to all of our friends in LA. Something about a dewy tinted moisturizer with SPF, end of summer sunshine, afternoon picnics, and yummy sub sandwiches all fit, so we created our very own Saie Sandwich with Uncle Paulie’s to mark the occasion.
Fast forward six months and we still regularly get asked for the Saie Sandwich recipe. Spring is here and summer’s on the way, so we thought it was time we share it with you. :)
The Saie Sandwich
- Half a cup to 1 cup of chopped salad greens
- thinly sliced cucumbers… quantity is up to you!
- 1-2 slices of fresh tomato
- Half a sliced avocado (slice a whole if you’re a big avo fan)
- chopped pepperoncini
- olive oil
- 2 slices of provolone
Slice a fresh sub in half and spread mayo and mustard on both sides. Layer provolone slices onto the mayo and mustard. Add chopped salad greens, cucumbers, tomato, avocado, and pepperoncini. Drizzle with a little bit of olive oil and balsamic. Top with salt and pepper if you’d like!
If you just need the sandwich asap (no judgement) you can order it straight from Uncle Paulie’s. Order their veggie sandwich and add provolone, mayo, and mustard!
